Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Silverline Granite Staffing is a Indianapolis staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with temp assignments. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Indianapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
