Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Bright Drift Farms is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for cold storage, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 163 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to cold storage, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Reno. • We reply to every applicant.
