Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Harborlight North Medical designs and makes medical devices in Louisville, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. Patient safety shapes every decision. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to training materials, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around clinical evaluations against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with training materials. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Louisville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
