Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Harborlight Keystone Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Toledo, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around proof of delivery against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to customer tracking, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with customer tracking. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Toledo. • We reply to every applicant.
