Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Northwind Haven Auto Group is a Reno company supplying vehicle parts and service. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of about 416 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to service appointments, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with service appointments. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
