Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Silverline Bright Staffing is a Minneapolis staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 56 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around timekeeping against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
