Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Foxglove Corner Auto Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for vehicle inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 438 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track costs around service appointments against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with vehicle inspections. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Charlotte. • We reply to every applicant.
