Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Clearpath Sable Staffing is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for client orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around candidate screening against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to client orders, and clear open items. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with client orders. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
