Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Lumen Maple Press Holdings produces print and digital publications in Jacksonville. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around press runs against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to customer orders, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Jacksonville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
