Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Cedar Timber Pharma develops and makes medicines in Jacksonville, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. We work to strict standards and value careful documentation. What you will do • Track costs around batch records against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with quality documentation. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Jacksonville. • We reply to every applicant.
