Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Greenridge Linden Facilities is a facilities company in Chicago with crews on day and night shifts. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of about 729 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around safety inspections against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with cleaning schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
