Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Greenridge Hollow Arts Center Group is a cultural organisation in Denver presenting exhibitions and performances, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around event logistics against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with visitor services. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Denver. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
