Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Rivermark Bright Construction builds commercial and industrial projects around Colorado Springs. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around materials orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with change orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Colorado Springs. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
