Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Stonegate Bridge Environmental Services is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for recycling loads, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Track costs around landfill records against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with recycling loads. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
