Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

We are growing our team at Cedar Willow Auto Group and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around vehicle inspections against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with customer estimates. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Milwaukee. • We reply to every applicant.
