Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Rivermark Iron Auto Group Partners is a Knoxville company supplying vehicle parts and service. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around parts orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
