Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Harborlight Lakeside Telecom is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for service installations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We invest in training. What you will do • Track costs around outage reports against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with service installations. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in El Paso. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
