Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Rivermark Kestrel Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Toledo. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. Service hours are steady. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to parts orders, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around customer estimates against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with parts orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Toledo. • We reply to every applicant.
