Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Harborlight Maple Markets is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for promotions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around supplier deliveries against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with promotions. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
