Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Lumen Rook Financial is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for payment disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Career paths are clear. What you will do • Track costs around account servicing against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to payment disputes, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with payment disputes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
