Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Meadow Markets and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to promotions, and clear open items. • Track costs around supplier deliveries against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with promotions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Atlanta. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
