Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Nova Linden Banking Services is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for account openings, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Most people here started in a branch and stayed. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around card disputes against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to account openings, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with account openings. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
