Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Foxglove Meadow Community Partners is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for benefits enrolment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around volunteer shifts against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to benefits enrolment, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with benefits enrolment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
