Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Cedar Meadow Manufacturing is a Tampa manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around scrap and rework against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with tooling. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
