Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Nova Oak Foods Associates is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for ingredient orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Track costs around sanitation schedules against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to ingredient orders, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with ingredient orders. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Milwaukee. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
