Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Fernwood Pine Financial is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for regulatory reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to regulatory reports, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around customer onboarding against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with regulatory reports. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Wichita. • We reply to every applicant.
