Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Harborlight Quarry Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Baltimore, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around field records against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to packing house output, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with packing house output. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Baltimore. • We reply to every applicant.
