Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Westbrook Maple Staffing is a Buffalo staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of about 808 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to onboarding, and clear open items. • Track costs around retention against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
