Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Redstone Glen Banking Services is a community-focused bank in El Paso serving households and small businesses. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. Most people here started in a branch and stayed. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around branch operations against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to deposit accounts, and clear open items. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with deposit accounts. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in El Paso. • We reply to every applicant.
