Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Bluepeak Hollow Energy Group supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Fresno. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to meter readings, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with meter readings. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Fresno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
