Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Highbridge Beacon Markets Partners operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Fresno, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Track costs around pricing against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to supplier deliveries, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Fresno. • We reply to every applicant.
