Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Silverline Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Houston area. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of about 592 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around enrolment against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with learning materials. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
