Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Foxglove Bright Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from Jacksonville, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 77 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track costs around regulatory reports against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements.
