Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Northwind Nest Financial Group provides savings, lending and payment services from Boise. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to account servicing, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around payment disputes against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with account servicing. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Boise. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
