Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Pike Markets and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to pricing, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with pricing. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
