Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Highbridge Vista Manufacturing makes precision components in Indianapolis. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Indianapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
