Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Lumen Iron Markets is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for supplier deliveries, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 828 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around shrink and waste against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to supplier deliveries, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
