Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Oak Inspection Services Group and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around field inspections against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to equipment calibration, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with equipment calibration. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Charlotte. • We reply to every applicant.
