Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Rivermark Fern Telecom Group provides broadband and phone service around Fresno, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 142 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around field visits against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to customer tickets, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with customer tickets. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Fresno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
