Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Analytics and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around loan files against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with account openings. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
