Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Bluepeak Ivory Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Minneapolis region. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to harvest schedules, and clear open items. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Minneapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
