Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Amberfield Wren Farms is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for harvest schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around grower contracts against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
