Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Fernwood Health runs classrooms and tutoring across the Louisville area, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around enrolment against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with learning materials. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Louisville. • We reply to every applicant.
