Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Highbridge Cobalt Construction Group builds commercial and industrial projects around Nashville. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. Site safety is non-negotiable. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around subcontractor invoices against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to project schedules, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with project schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Nashville. • We reply to every applicant.
