Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Westbrook Corner Auto Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for service appointments, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Track costs around supplier deliveries against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to service appointments, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with service appointments. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Charlotte. • We reply to every applicant.
