Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Cedar Loom Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Providence, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Track costs around regulatory submissions against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
