Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Rivermark Juniper Foods Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for allergen controls, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around sanitation schedules against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with allergen controls. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
