Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Harborlight Junction Financial Group serves customers across Miami with accounts, loans and payments, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around regulatory reports against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to vendor spend, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Miami. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
