Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Bright Thistle Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Boise, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around production lots against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with regulatory submissions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Boise. • We reply to every applicant.
