Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Greenridge Field Community Partners Group is a Tampa charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around benefits enrolment against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with volunteer shifts. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Tampa. • We reply to every applicant.
